I know, I know, I’m behind on my LA posts but I’m slowly catching up before I head back to school today and get busy again!!
Tuesday I was still in Orange County, and we headed out for another day at the beach! After a delicious (and very California) breakfast in Newport, we went exploring at Corona Del Mar beach, which I loved even more than Laguna. CDM is filled with little hidden caves, tiny beaches tucked away, and breathtaking views of the ocean cliffs. After climbing over the rocky hills, we found these little coves.
The water was a little too cold for us, but that didn’t stop any of the locals!
This is the view from Inspiration Point at the top of Corona Del Mar Beach, and it definitely deserves the name. You have to climb up a (very steep) hill, pictured above, but the view is entirely worth it. The top of the cliff gives you a sweeping view of the beach on both sides, with huge, beautiful houses running the length of the water.
I’ll take one of these!
