Striped in the City

I told myself that I was going to do more style posts this semester. If I had a dollar for every time I’ve said to myself, “Oh, I should shoot this look for the blog….”

BUT I finally am here to present an actual style post that I shot a few weeks ago with my adorable little, Emi (who makes an appearance in her super-trendy outfit).

Disclaimer: we did NOT plan on wearing the same hat. I actually own a maroon floppy hat so it could have been a lot worse, y’all.

I said that we shot this a few weeks ago, aka when it was still warm out but Emi and I were too excited for fall. I was desperate for a cute fall outfit to appear on the blog, so I compromised by forgoing my boots and tights (thank goodness) for flats.

We. Were. Sweating. Vests and wool hats don’t really mix when the temperature is rising into the 80s and you’re walking around Manhattan all day. But, Emi and I are strong proponents of picking fashion over function.
