What to Wear at the Airport

With the holiday season coming up, you need an outfit for every occasion, and a lot of those occasions will involved traveling. Whether it’s planes, trains, or automobiles, you want to look your best and stay comfy at the same time. I’ve already given you the formula for a perfect carry-on bag, but now you have to put together your outfit.

Don’t worry,  I’ve got you covered.

I LOVE to be comfortable when flying. Whether it’s a 14 hour flight to Korea or a quick weekend trip home, I am all about being comfortable.

You have to find a middle ground when traveling- what do you feel comfortable in without being frumpy.  I’m a big fan of oversized, draped sweaters with leggings or stretchy jeans. You look on-trend without looking sloppy. I own probably 5 or 6 of these and they’re my go-to for class on a weekly basis.

Top off your look with a hat, whether its a beanie or a big, floppy felt hat, it instantly elevates your look. Plus, it can help to hide your messy plane hair. Does anyone else feel like their hair gets super static-y and tangled while flying?

My white converse go with me on every single trip- I wore out a pair in Europe, they are the best for traveling and go with every. single. outfit.

If you still want to roll up to your flight in leggings and your oversized sweatshirt that you probably slept in, I won’t judge you because I have 100% been that girl. I’ve dragged my Winnie the Pooh pillow pet with me through the airport and I have no shame.

But, it always helps to look out together. Throw on a blanket scarf, a floppy hat, and a pair of sunglasses to hide the fact that you slept 4 hours and packed 10 minutes before leaving. Because we’ve all been there.

  1. The blanket scarf is a must for any journey! I use it as a den on coach trips with my friends so that they don’t take any embarrassing pictures of me drooling or something whilst asleep!
