What to Wear to Thanksgiving

Happy Friday!!  I’m headed home today (!!!!!) after what has been the most stressful and draining week. This is a much-needed and deserved break, and I’m looking forward to a week of relaxing at home and seeing my friends.

I know I’ve kind of fallen off the bandwagon with the Friday Favorites the past few weeks, but today I wanted to share something a little more useful as the holidays round the corner.

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays, because it involves some of my favorite things- cute fall outfits, family, and FOOD. So. Much. Food.

Whether you’re headed home or doing a Friendsgiving in your dorm, you want to look cute while you’re stuffing your face.

Thanksgiving is fall’s last hurrah when you can bust out all of your orange and cognacs before red and green completely take over. Enjoy your pumpkin before the peppermint overshadows it.
Colored jeans or corduroys are always a good option, especially when paired with riding boots and a cozy blanket scarf. I tossed in a few Kendra Scott rings to bring a little sparkle to an otherwise very preppy outfit.
This outfit is almost exactly what I plan on wearing to Thanksgiving- I bought the vest version (which is unfortunately sold out online but you may be able to find it in Nordstrom rack stores!) of this Two by Vince Camuto jacket and I’m IN LOVE. It goes with everything and makes me feel so trendy. There are a million versions of this vest out there, including here, here, and here. I also picked up these Franco Sarto boots and I’m obsessed. They’re so comfortable and go with everything.

I love this combo of fall colors and the big, forgiving sweater!

I hope everyone finishes off this week strong and has a great weekend!
