If you’re anything like me, you probably have 1051992 little makeup/jewelry/weekend/ random bags lying around. BUT you use all of them at one point or another. And, if you’re also like me, every time you see a cute one you just have to have it!
You may have seen this Insta from Friday with my two newest clutches. Did I need these? No. But they were $8 at Ross so really I couldn’t turn them down.
When summer rolls around, I usually find myself reaching for smaller bags. Maybe because in New York, I was always hauling a huge bag of stuff to the city every day since I needed my heels for work, my lunch, my phone charger, hand sanitizer (very important when you commute by train and subway), and all the extra crap girls typically carry. But in the summer, aside from days when I’m working, I usually take a tiny purse with just my phone, wallet, and lip gloss. When the layers come off, so does the giant bag!
I put together a few of my favorite clutches for spring, whether you’re using them as a makeup bag, going-out clutch, or just to keep all your junk organized in your bag. Because it might as well be cute, right?
Almost all of these are under $20, and perfect for spring and summer getaways. I used my ‘Weekend Essentials’ bag to hold my makeup this past weekend, and took this Marley Lilly (c/o) clutch downtown. The wrist strap and detachable chain make it great for different occasions, but for going out I prefer using the longer chain to keep my hands free.
