Summer Style with Dixieland Monogram

How is it already August?? I feel like this summer has flown by- not that I’m complaining, as I’ve already started buying fall decor and spent about an hour looking at pumpkin recipes yesterday….

However, since it won’t feel like fall in Texas until at least October (if we’re lucky), I’m still rocking my sun dresses and sandals for a while. Luckily, this clutch will carry me through every season! 

Dixieland Monogram sent me this super cute clutch a while back, and it’s been perfect for weekend trips and running around on weekends. I took it on our quick trip to Austin this weekend and it was the perfect bag!

I’m not usually a huge clutch person- they look really cute but don’t always fit what I need. This one, however, is perfect! It’s big enough to actually hold all my essentials, and it comes with a chain so that I can wear it as a cross body.

On a makeup note, I’m wearing this Maybelline lip color from my latest Influenster VoxBox. I. Am. In. Love. This stuff actually stays on all day- I’ve worn it through brunches, drinks, everything, without having to constantly reapply. I loved it so much I bought two more colors!

We took all these photos on Rainey Street in Austin. If you’ve never been, it’s a really cool historic area, where all the old houses have been converted into different bars. Most of them have cool backyards with tons of games to keep you entertained!
