Today, while de-boarding my plane from LA to Dallas, I saw a very familiar woman sitting in first class. After a few double-takes, a flight attendant nearby whispered, “Yes, that’s Wendy Davis.” Wendy Davis was on my plane.
If you aren’t already obsessed with Wendy Davis, you can read up on her here. She’s running for governor here in Texas, and we were on the same flight! I ran to the parking lot to meet my mom, yelling, “Wendy Davis was on my flight!!” When my mom said I should have taken a picture, a man behind us said, “Would you like one?” It turns out he works for her, and went to find her and tell her that I wanted to meet her. She came outside, introduced herself, and was nice enough to take a picture with me! Senator Davis was probably the nicest person I have met, and it was amazing getting to meet someone whom I admire politically!

I’d like to thank Senator Davis for taking the time to take a picture with me! It was a huge honor!
