Happy Friday! It’s been a long few weeks and it’s going to get busy again soon, but right now I’ve got a fun, relaxing weekend ahead! I’m headed to Her Campus College Fashion Week tomorrow, so stay tuned for a recap soon!
For now, here’s my favorite things I’ve seen on the web this week.
- 9 Ways to Survive Your Semester Abroad. I raved about History in High Heels in my last Friday Favorites post, but she did a Q&A with The Glitter Guide this week, and broke down some of her biggest tips for surviving your study abroad experience.
- 27 Art History Photos That Are Too Funny For Their Own Good. Even if you aren’t into art, just scroll through these. It’ll make your day.
- How to Have the Perfect Fall Day in NYC. Travel and Leisure editors shared how they would spend their perfect day in New York.
- What it Means to ‘Read the Riot Act.’ The Riot Act used to be a real thing. And you actually had to read it. Aloud. When there was a riot going on.
- The Rise of Rifle Paper Co.
If you are not familiar with Rifle Paper Co. by name, you will definitely recognize their signature floral iPhone cases that all your friends own. Vanity Fair profiled the founder- it is so cool to see how a business rises from the ground up! - Malala is more than just a girl shot by the Taliban. It’s been 3 years since Malala was shot by the Taliban on her way to school, and her new documentary, ‘He Names me Malala,’ shows that she is so much more than that. She is the youngest Nobel laureate, has a best-selling book, and she’s acing her school exams. Basically, she’s a regular teenage girl who just happens to want to save the world.
