Happy Friday! I hope everyone made it through the week- we’re right in the middle of busy midterm season. But don’t let it spoil your fall! Enjoy the beautiful weather now, because vest and sweater season doesn’t last long- soon it becomes “giant parka covering my cute outfit” season.
We’re celebrating fall by going apple picking this weekend out east, so expect about a million photos next week. For now, here’s a little weekend reading to tide you over.
- The Pumpkin Dance. You all know that gif that pops up around this time of the guy, dressed all in black with the pumpkin mask? Well here’s how it got started. This would also make for a last-minute DIY costume.
2. I had the opportunity to attend Her Campus College Fashion Week in NYC last week for The College Tourist. If you’re in Atlanta or DC, you can still attend!
3. GUYS. A WIZARD was at the democratic debate on Wednesday (which I’m sure you all watched because you love politics and celebrating your civic duty as much as I do). I had to hold in laughter at my internship while reading. This is a lesson: don’t read BuzzFeed at your internship, unless you intern at BuzzFeed. In that case, keep on reading.
4. If you haven’t already seen the (NSFW i.e. lots of swearing) video of the very Boston man yelling about a fish, here’s the original. If you couldn’t get enough, someone mashed it up with Jaws footage. Don’t watch with the sound up too high.
