I’m trying to brighten up Monday today by sharing a little peak into our day of pumpkin picking! This was actually two weekends ago (so long ago that our pumpkins already rotted!). But, it was such a beautiful day I had to blog about it.
Pumpkin picking is one of my favorite fall activities. I love finding the perfect one, and we had a blast carving ours (even if they didn’t last very long, but that’s pumpkins for you). We were lucky to get there so early, especially on one of the first weekends they were open, as there were plenty to pick from and it wasn’t crowded yet.
We went to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch, which is where I used to always go when I was little. It’s reasonably priced and everyone there is super friendly. It’s definitely geared towards families with kids, but their pumpkin selection was incredible. It is also one of the best places to go pumpkin picking in DFW, and they are open until Halloween!
That’s a lot of pumpkin….Z’s biggest was 44 lbs!
Z was so proud of his giant pumpkins.
We also got lucky with a clear, cool morning, but it was fleeting as we were in shorts that afternoon. Fall is slowly trying to inch its way here, and I’m ready! I have worn a vest nearly every chance I can get, and it’s only a matter of time before the boots and sweaters start to come out.
I linked up everything I’m wearing below- my vest is from Francesca’s Boutique last year but I linked up several similar ones. Z is, as always, wearing his Chubbies shorts.
