Hello from freezing Texas. Winter is definitely here with a vengeance, and it’s been cold and windy every day. I can’t leave the house without bundling up, and while I love cold weather clothes, getting dressed for work when its 20 degrees out isn’t as fun as it sounds. Maybe I need a post soon on winter outfit ideas for work? Because I’m definitely struggling with looking cute, professional, and warm!
The only good thing about all the low temperatures is that I can bust out all my boots, vests, and hats. While I can’t wear most of these things to work (except for on casual Fridays), this is a pretty perfect winter outfit for any weekend. I’ve swapped my Bean boots for ankle boots and worn this outfit a few times already.
If you saw any of my study abroad posts, you’ll remember this beanie; I wore it (and a few other pom-pom beanies) constantly in Europe, and I’m so glad they continue to be in style. This little red one is a favorite of mine, especially since it matches so many other things I own.
This little gingham vest is from TJ Maxx, but it looks just like the J. Crew version!
Big news: I finally got Z to shoot blog photos for me. Was he super excited about it? No, but he did pretty well! I hope everyone stays warm and all your Christmas shopping is done!
