Graduation is quickly approaching! I feel like I’ve been out of school forever now, but my newsfeed is full of people who are about to graduate! It is a super exciting but super stressful time, and the last thing you have time to think about is what to wear! I updated my post on a few spring grad outfit ideas, but I wanted to share a few options for graduation outfits under $100!
As much as I love a good Lilly shift for spring, that doesn’t fit into everyone’s budget. You can find tons of cute options at places like TJ Maxx, Target, and even Nordstrom! All of these tips also work if you are attending a graduation!
The best way to find a budget-friendly grad outfit? Shop your closet! See if there is anything you already have that you can re-wear. I know graduation is a big deal, but trust me- you will be wearing your cap and gown most of the day, so no one will see your dress until you take pictures afterwards.
I wore a navy lace Adrianna Papell dress that I had already worn to a few events at school (I scooped it up on sale at Dillards a few months before), added navy heels, and voila! I kept my jewelry simple except for my lion earrings (that was our mascot!).
Speaking of shoes, please remember that graduation is a walking event. My ceremony wasn’t too long and I was mostly sitting, but my heels weren’t super comfortable. In the spring, you have plenty of comfy options between wedges, block-heeled sandals, or even espadrilles- I’ve linked a few options below! Make sure your shoes are broken in before the day of- walk around your dorm room in them if you have to, just to be sure!
