I AM DONE WITH COLLEGE!!!!!!
Sorry, I’m a little excited. Graduation is Sunday and while I am so sad to leave Hofstra I am also really excited for what comes next. I’ll have a looooong grad-related post soon but for now I’m trying to soak everything in.
I will also (at least this is the plan) have more time to blog once I am home, and I have lots of content planned! For now, I wanted to get back into my Friday Favorites as a way to round off the week.
- 22 Signs You’re Graduating in December. This is all too real for me. Graduating in December feels like such an afterthought- thankfully I get an actual ceremony, but it feels almost like we don’t matter as much as May grads. There are no luncheons or trips or get-togethers or the sense of camaraderie that comes with graduating with a big class. Most of my friends graduated in May so it feels a little bit like I am graduating late instead of early. But you have to make the most of things, and I am still glad to be graduating early!
- A Guide to Cycling in Amsterdam. OH MY GOSH. I may or may not have been cracking up watching this. Not as funny if you have never experienced Amsterdam but still amazing. I never realized how much I miss Dutch accents and their sense of humor.
- Why I’m Sick of Seeing your #Wanderlust Instagram Photos. I have written about the travel pressure before, but I always love reading new angles, especially about buzzwords like ‘wanderlust.’
- Why It’s OK To Take A Break From Your Career Path. This applies to any job, but will really hit hard for those of us in the journalism industry.
- New Year’s Eve Party Inspiration. Yes, I know we’re still a week away from Christmas (which is unbelievable!!) but I am planning a New Year’s Eve party with some friends and I’ve gone a little crazy with the planning!
I hope everyone has a great day! What are your plans for the weekend?
