Fall Activity Outfit Ideas

outfit ideas for fall activities

In case you totally missed the memo, it is officially fall! It actually feels *slightly* cooler here, and I’m itching to reach for vests instead of shorts.

While I desperately wait for fall weather, it’s still that time of year for basic fall activities. Am I going to do a lot of these activities with a pumpkin spice latte in hand? Yeah, probably. Does that make me basic? Yeah, probably. Did I spend my Sunday baking pumpkin spice cookies? Yes. But hey, if you’re gonna do fun fall activities, you might as well look cute! I rounded up a few fall outfit ideas for some of my favorite things to do when the weather cools down!

Friendsgiving

I’ve never done a ‘Friendsgiving,’ but we’re planning to do one this year! Now that we have our own place and can entertain a big group of our friends, I’m excited to do a mini-Thanksgiving dinner party. We will probably keep it casual but still festive

Pumpkin/Apple Picking

Being outdoors means dressing the part! Yeah, you still want to look cute, but its impractical to wear a dress and heels just for a picture. Bean boots, Hunters, or riding boots that you don’t mind getting dirty are the perfect footwear when you’re traipsing through a dusty field to find the perfect carving pumpkin.

Haunted House/Corn Maze

The most important thing at a haunted house/maze is being able to run away quickly! And since you often can’t see where you’re running, having all-weather boots that can handle whatever you may step in is a must. I’m a big fan of ear warmers in the winter- they keep your hair out of your face and keep your head warm without worrying about it flying off like a hat.

Bonfire

The key to bonfire is layers- you may be chilly when you arrive, but once the fire starts going, you may want to shed a layer to stay comfy.

I am watching the weather forecast like a hawk to see when I can finally start wearing outfits like these! Until then, what is your favorite activity for fall?
