It’s Day 2 of my gift guides! Today, I’m sharing a guide for the hostess with the mostess in your life.
My mom always has a ‘gift box’ full of stuff that we could grab in case we needed a last-minute birthday or hostess gift. I now have a similar gift box of random candles/stationary/accessories that I can give to anyone and always come prepared!
Candles are always a good idea (who doesn’t love candles?), as well as ‘hostess’ items like fun cocktail napkins or glasses. I actually just received a set of stemless wine glasses similar to the Kate Spade ones below, I couldn’t find the exact set but these are similar. They’ve been a huge hit so far every time we’ve had guests over!
Try to find things your hostess can actually use. Cheese/cutting boards, serving platters, or a bottle stopper to go with that bottle of wine you brought. I also love getting stationary as a gift, then you can send thank you notes to all your guests for their lovely gifts.
