I feel almost shameful typing this, since my friends and family in the Northeast are about to get pummeled with yet another snowstorm, but spring is here in Texas! I work from home on Fridays and I spent all day on the patio with my laptop, enjoying the beautiful weather!
With the changing weather comes a change in my wardrobe. While spring and summer mean cute sundresses and easy shorts, dressing for work in the warmer months can be tricky. Most of my ‘workwear’ is meant for fall/winter. Even though I’m lucky to work in a fairly casual office, I needed something new for spring!

I love the look of stripes with literally any color so I paired these precious little pants with a classic strip and blush accessories.
I know I didn’t need another striped shirt but A. they’re all different! and B. this one has the cutest little gold buttons on the shoulders for a nautical touch. Did I mention it’s also $12??
Ok now let’s talk about these shoes. I’m in love! I have been searching for a pair of nude, block-heeled sandals that weren’t too high, but I was not ready to shell out $100 for the Sam Edelman or Steve Madden versions that everyone on your Instagram is wearing.
So where did I finally find a pair? Target!!
In fact, this entire outfit, aside from my purse, is from Target. This is why I shouldn’t be let loose in Target, since I walk out with an entire outfit, but I’ve worn each piece separately since I bought them!
I love this outfit because I can take each piece and dress it up or down, or combine them all for an easy work look. This can easily take me from a meeting with a client to dinner with friends!
Target, always killin’ it. They have tons of cute, affordable options for spring right now! I’ve also linked up everything I am wearing below!
Does your office have a strict dress code? How do you transition your workwear for spring?
