Apple Picking

It seems that every other Instagram post from every single person that you know has been filled with vests, apples, pumpkins, and some sort of #fall caption.

But, I can’t complain because we did the exact same thing on Saturday. Z and I joined up with Emi and her boyfriend at Seven Ponds Orchard (if you’re on Long Island and looking for an orchard that hasn’t been cleared out, this one is great!).

All the best apples were at the top.

Again, we did not intend to match. Typical Big/Little problems, but we showed up in (slightly different version of) the same J. Crew vest. Mine is the factory version in gray, but now that the black version is back in stock I may snatch it up as well! Emi is wearing the J. Crew version, which I couldn’t find online but you should be able to find in stores!

Fall in New York is my favorite season, and is something I will truly miss. I love fall clothes, getting all dressed up to go apple and pumpkin picking, hot apple cider donuts, local vineyards, and the beautiful fall weather with crisp air and clear blue skies.

Sorry, I got a little caught up there. But I really do love fall in New York, and apple picking is something I have done every year since I have been at Hofstra, and it is something I hope to continue!
